Visiting
Dr. Dauphiné for the first time?
Dr. Dauphiné will begin by taking a detailed
history and performing a comprehensive
examination to analyze your knee or shoulder
problem. Diagnostic tests, such as X-rays
and MRIs, will be ordered as necessary to
make an accurate diagnosis.
If no surgery is needed, Dr. Dauphiné may
instruct you to focus on certain exercises,
or make a referral to a qualified allied
health practitioner or physical therapist.
If surgery is needed, Dr. Dauphiné takes the
time to discuss all of the options
available, providing an in-depth,
understanding of which surgical procedures
will work best for each individual case.
For your first visit to Dr. Dauphiné, please
wear comfortable, loose clothing and be sure
to bring the following with you:
•
Current insurance identification cards
•
List of current medications
•
X-rays if you have them, or any other
